Even though it was a team they were suppose to beat it shows that they are not giving up. I think this team could make a playoff run if they stay healthy. And stop it NHL with the GD overtime losses, they are losses, someone with 2 less wins should not be sharing a lead with the Wild. Go Puck Wild!

Big Game for the Wild tonight. Playing for to keep the lead in the division, too bad that they play in the worst division for game times, they are not on until 9. They need to keep playing well and trending up. #lightTheLamp

theFranchise   50/50. I think they keep treading water in the 8/9 position in the West. Howard will have to continue his recent success. Maybe we'll get a preview of what the post-Kobe era Lakers will look like.

Percy traded to the Seahawks, for a 1st and 7th this year and a mid rounder next year. While I hate seeing Percy go, I understand why the front office made the move. The Seahawks are going to be scary good next year.

JW07   He has also allegedly stated that he does not like the skills that Ponder possesses. Anytime you have a WR not happy with the QB throwing to him, it causes a bit of a quagmire.

Great Win by the Wild last night, even though the score made it seem closer than it was. They dominated that game until a weird bounce off the glass found the back of the net for the Coyotes. Got to keep the momentum going tonight in Anaheim.

Penn State is coming off their first win in BigTen play and the Gophers consistantly over look these type of teams. The Gophers need to finish the season strong and win out which shouldn't be too hard with the likes of Penn State, Purdue and Nebraska left on the schedule, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them come out flat to one of these teams and maybe even lose to one. In the current playoff picture, the Vikings are in the 6th seed of the NFC and would play Green Bay in the first round. That would mean they would play in back to back weeks. I would be happy about the Vikes making the playoffs.

I am placing about 65% of the blame on Ponder, only because none of our WRs cannot catch the ball or create separation for Ponder to throw into. If you want an example, look at the throw to Aromashodu, it wasn't the prettiest throw, but it was catchable if Devin goes up for the ball instead of falling to the ground to try to catch the ball. I don't know how the Vikings think they can go anywhere with a one-dimensional offense.  less

If they can fix their ability to handle more game situations, they'll be in the mix in the division. People can hem and haw all they want about Ponder, but the reality is that in today's NFL it's pass first and you get only a short window to prove yourself. The responsibility of scoring the football offensively falls squarely on the QB, right or wrong that's just reality. Time to start looking somewhere else for a player that can consistently make things happen.  less

Max Shortell is transferring away from the U next year, this is understandable since he was overtaken by Phillip Nelson this year and Nelson is younger. I wish the Red Rocket all the luck with his next team, as long as that team does not play in the B1G.
