Heat - 2013 NBA Playoffs: Miami Heat Might Have Helped Create A Monster
Like Kevin Durant, the past two years, much has been made of Paul George’s summer workouts with LeBron James. But unlike Durant, the summer sessions were never a part of James’ annual "hell week." They were actually part of the Olympic team’s preparation for London. It wa...
Heat - 2013 NBA Playoffs: Mike Miller Deserves A Rotation Spot For Miami Heat
Mike Miller finished the 2012-13 NBA regular season strong for the Miami Heat, but his postseason campaign has been disappointing, and it is a shame that he has lost his spot in the rotation. As Dwyane Wade rested his knee towards the end of the season, Miller finally got his chance to play some sol...
Heat - 2013 NBA Playoffs: Indiana Pacers Have No Answer for Chris Bosh
The Indiana Pacers have built a defensive system that is designed to at least slow down the likes of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. Their personnel and scheme have meshed together to form the stingiest defense in the NBA this season and it’s the biggest reason why they have made it to the Easte...

Beyond just the big three, they have a very serviceable guard in Chalmers and a great defender in Battier. Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis reunited provide quite the threat from beyond the arc. Plus they still have Mike Miller who's good for some quality minutes. PG is the only position I see them being deficient at and Wade and LBJ can bring the ball up any time they want. You could argue center as well, but who has a quality center these days. #repeat #dynasty #PatRileyIsSmart less
theFranchise I think it's clearly an indication the end of days is near. Although I did like LeBron's "Jesus Shuttlesworth" reference about playing with Allen. He Got Game was one of my all-time favorite movies growing up.

RuFiOhhh I don't like that he plays for the Heat and has basically turned into a gun for hire player. Whatever happened to genuinely hating a rival. The next thing you know KG will go to the Lakers and the world will implode.... The next thing you know KG will go to the Lakers and the world will implode.... By the way is Jesus Shuttlesworth not the greatest fake-name for a basketball player. How do we not have any Jesus Shuttlesworths in the NBA right now....

theFranchise Jesus Shuttlesworth is the greatest basketball name ever conceived. My sole regret in life is not thinking of it when I was filling out my son's birth certificate. My wife would have been so surprised!
October 8, 2012
RuFiOhhh I would name my son it but there is a 95% chance he won't be athletic.....
RuFiOhhh I feel bad for the diehard fans but there are a lot of Cali nba teams. Even though the vlade, c-webb, jason Williams kings were one of my favorite nba teams of the last 15 years.
theFranchise A lot of history, but not enough revenue for them in the current market.

They didn't change that much in the revenue sharing. so as long as big name players only go to the big market teams, teams like the kings are going to die out,
RuFiOhhh This makes a lot of sense since the NBA is the league that is the least fan-friendly. Can't wait to see what percent ticketmaster takes from it and what kind of fiscal deals the two have.

theFranchise David Stern + Ticketmaster = My worst nightmare
craigsmith33 Well the only thing he can really do at this stage is knock down open jumpers and this is exactly what they expect him to do. He will be a good addition and just sit on the line waiting for the double team dish from LBJ or Wade
July 7, 2012
Karolis Yeah, either he hits the open 3 or he spaces the floor for LBJ or Wade to drive inside.
As the Miami Heat's lead skyrocketed Thursday night from five just after halftime to an insurmountable 24 by the end of the third quarter, their fans outside the AmericanAirlines Arena decided it was time to celebrate the team's sec
For the first time in the series the Heat look like the better team, what an effort top to bottom so far. Could this be the year the King finally earns his crown?
JW07 things are getting a little chippy... I wish Fisher would have clothes-lined James.
June 21, 2012
theFranchise Yeah, that was just a good ol fashioned foul
June 21, 2012
JW07 my God! the Heat can't miss a shot and everything is a 3 ball! WTF! On the other end, it appears as the young kids are letting their emotions get the best of them.
June 21, 2012
theFranchise Triple double, check. NBA championship, check. It's a good day to be the king.

theFranchise Dude is locked up. Gatorade execs are probably shitting themselves right now. Who let Lactic Acid tko LeBron on National Television? Cause you're effing fired! ;)
June 19, 2012
JW07 I've never seen a guy "locked up" with cramps for the final 3 minutes of a very important game. Just funny how the "cramps" started after he clumsily fell and tossed the ball out of bounds.
June 20, 2012
theFranchise He locked up as he went down on that play I think. If you would have seen him screaming like a little girl on the sideline your conspiracy theory would be dispelled. That was pure anguish.
