For anyone that has kept tabs on the blog during the slowest days of the NFL calendar, you have seen that NFL.com’s top 100 plays from 2012 has been jam-packed with the Redskins. The first three cameos made by Washington involved Robert Griffin III showcasing his bravery in battle (not afraid ...
Redskins - Washington Redskins Training Camp Profile: Kirk Cousins
While many within the Metro-Washington, D.C. area are fixated on whether or not franchise quarterback Robert Griffin III will be back from his ACL tear suffered in the Wildcard Playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks, what’s being lost is the fact that his backup, Kirk Cousins, can do a good job ...
Week after week last season, 2012 NFL Draft No. 2 overall selection Robert Griffin III picked apart defenses with his arm (20 touchdowns to five interceptions). Then as soon as he had opposing defensive backs sitting on their heels worried about his accuracy, he would dash past them for incredible r...

Last Thursday Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan cancelled the scheduled final day of minicamp and gave his players an extra day of "summer vacation". Not every player, though. For rookies Bacarri Rambo and Phillip Thomas-well they started off their first day away from organized team activi...

craigsmith33 The real question is can RG3 last through the years. He takes a beating but is something special. I just think he wont be able to take those hits when he hits 28-30.
madEG It was nice seeing Morris get the game ending 1st down. Sitting there with helmet on after the fumble you could see he was pretty steamed, you guys.
madEGJust seeing this post now, but heck yea! Remember sean suisham? Two years ago I think, that dude was like 20 for 23 or something... Missed one easy against Nola and then one or two semi easy against Dallass (sic) the next weekend... Dan the Evin Man ... moreJust seeing this post now, but heck yea! Remember sean suisham? Dan the Evin Man sent his arse packing quick!
Crazy thing happened in the Redskins Pregame. Looks like one player got a concussion and one tore his knee up. That is not suppose to happen while the players are warming up.

It's every week. It really is intolerable. Makes it irritating to watch. If I were a Vikings fan, I might've broken the television when they gave us the ball back on a challenge that should have never been.

TwinsFan1 I was close. The NFL needs to get the regular refs back now!

That was an out of nowhere smackdown nobody saw coming against a solid NFC foe in the Saints. Especially with them riding high on the emotion of the overturned suspensions. Obviously this would be a better win is Payton was coaching, but still this spoke volumes what the expectations are this season for the Skins. The rebuilding is all but done, now let's see this team compete.

Primo It was a great win but I want to see how he does against a more notable defense.
September 10, 2012
RuFiOhhh He looked better and smarter than Vick did. While the siants defense is not very good, RG3's decision making was so much further along than what I expected.

theFranchise Wow. His curly mop will surely be missed.
August 28, 2012
Palastro24 I hope he does... Just not on another NFC East or another NFC team for that matter. I really do not want to have to root against him. He was a great Redskin on bad teams.
"Former Redskins RB Clinton Portis will announce his retirement at a press conference on Thursday, Aug. 23 at 2:30 p.m. ET at Redskins Park." - Adam Schefter
Primo I saw him in and after game interview this weekend. WOW.

That doesn't mean I think he'll win more games though. RGIII will make it I'm sure, but he may also have Kirk Cousins breathing down his neck if he goes on a streak of poor games.

RuFiOhhh i think Luck will ultimately be the better QB. He was bred to play QB basically.

BBraskie he looks so tiny out there and washington put a lot of future 1st round picks which was big mistake
Very interested to see how RG3 debuts tonight. I'm sure he'll only get a couple series' but I want to see if he can command an NFL offense the way I think he can.
theFranchiseNot sure I'd discount Cam's ability much, passing or running. He's a freak just as much as RG3 and equally as good a person/leader. He's a freak just as much as RG3 and equally as good a person/leader. Both have the ability to use their legs to extend drives run and both have the ability to heave the rock. Accuracy is yet to be seen on both accounts and will improve with time. These guys are winners and I think decision making in pressure situations will be what these guys ultimately get judged on when all is said and done.

RuFiOhhh Why do you think that Cam's arm is not close to RG3. I've seen him throw it 60+ yards (which is all you need in the NFL.
August 10, 2012
TwinsFan1I am not talking about the 60+ yard throws. RG3 proved in college that he had the accuracy. He is just more accurate than Cam. I think they are both going to be great players in the NFL. He is just more accurate than Cam. I think they are both going to be great players in the NFL. I just think that RG3 has the more accurate arm, and that is key in the NFL. That being said, it is going to be fun watching them play over the next10 years (hopefully)! I love that football is back.
August 10, 2012
RuFiOhhh While I do like both and have high hopes. Cam was better coming out of college (winning a national title by dominating the SEC) RG3 has to do a lot to match Cam's rookie season.
August 10, 2012
TwinsFan1 I would have to agree with you on that point. Like I said should be fun to watch.
